I have installed RT a couple of times now - once under Mandriva 2007 and
once very recently under Centos 5.

It is a very difficult program to install and requires a very large
number of Perl modules.

This page has prepackaged RT

but the compiled install is the best IMHO. Part of the install process
has an automatic finder and downloader of all required perl modules but
I warn you that it can take quite a long time. You may need to run the
downloader/installer a couple of times but in the end it will get there.

You need also when configuring RT, to understand that it installs as a
virtual web site. It took me a long time to understand this.

All in all, RT is a brilliant product once installed - very easy to use
and configure. It is very fast in use too.

Good luck.

Rick
