How's the suspend? And any experience with 3G broadband? They're about the two features that matter to me on top of having a *nix environment.
I'm still using OSX on the MacBook at the moment, 'cause I've got to fiddle to get the '3' modem working (the Bigpond one is fine, but that contract is over now). Suspend appears to work perfectly for Ubuntu on it, but I haven't done any major stress testing yet. I'm considering a 10" eee, and then ditching the MacBook in favour of something larger... but anything I get will have to handle suspend.
