Can anyone tell me the purpose of the files in /var/ClamAV? Are they
just signatures?
We installed ClamAV on one of our servers back in February. I just
checked /var/spool/clamav and there is a directory for every day since
then with each directory holding between 3MB and 260+MB - a total of 22GB.
Is there no removal of old signatures or do we have to do this manually?
Checked the ClamAV web site and they talk about the signature files but
there is no mention of any housekeeping.
Thought I would ask here before I sign up for the ClamAV forum.
