The Linksys WMP54G v4.1 wireless network card works perfectly in Ubuntu 8.04 but I have been unable as yet to get it to work in either Debian 5 or SuSE 11. My problem was solved by restarting the modem which had somehow set the download speed at 412 instead 1500. It got sorted after a reboot. The Linksys WRT54G2 wireless router works perfectly and was easy to set up using its web interface. Note: Ubuntu sees the wlan card as:
