Bought the Telstra USB modem. Connected it to the laptop (Fujitsu, running Intrepid)
Nothing came up on the monitor. Strange, I expected *something*, even if only an error message; but not even that. The light on the modem came on. But 0 else. Is there something I should have done (connecting *after* booting up, rather than *before*?)
