Hi All,
I've done everything I can think of, including googling, and still can't
get sound in my Flash. They work perfectly through totem if I download
them and then play them, but the one site that matters uses flash to set
up the player then inserts the video and although I can see the video
perfectly well, I get no sound at all.

My setup is:
Ubuntu 8.04 x86_64 with all updates
Firefox 3.0.10

My system:
AMD Semperon 64 3300
1.5GB RAM
Card 0 - Sound Blaster Live!
Card 1 - VIA Technologies AC 97 (Built in sound -turned off in BIOS)

All works well in my alternative OS which is SuSE 11 but I find SuSE
much slower than Ubuntu so I would prefer to get it working well.

Any suggestions? Do I need to upgrade to 9.04 to solve the problem? Do I
need to reactivate my AC97 on board Sound?

Heracles

PS. How is the parking at the new venue for the SLUG meetings?
