So, the school kids are being taught to develop content for four colour industrial printing, rather than websites?
I should hope that in an art or technical drawing class the students have the opportunity to use the correct technology for the medium they are working in -- be that RGB, CMYK or PANTONE. Telling students that they must only present their computer- generated images on three-colour illuminated media seems to me to be the sort of petty fascism that disenchants students and oppresses teachers. It doesn't stand to the credit of the free software movement that this long-outstanding bug in its premier graphics package continues, and of course that bug should stand against free software in an evaluation of software alternatives. -- Glen Turner -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
