-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I have a curious situation. I have a Sound Blaster Live card in my Ubuntu64 9.04 system and have turned the internal card off in the bios.
The volume control tells me it is set for the Sound Blaster but does not control the volume. I have to open it fully and then adjust the volume from there using the "front" control. The "Master" has no effect on volume at all. Is this normal for Ubuntu 9.04 and if so, how can I set it up so that volume is easily controlled from the widget directly?
