For what it's worth - both me and my wife have Nokia E71 (as a reply to whomever mentioned Blackberry, we cought it when it just came out with ridiculous package prices) with $8/100M data packs for about a year now and are very happy with coverage, speed, expenses and their "My3" page up to date about usage (data usage report could lag by up to 24 hours, which is reasonable). She'll now buy a mobile modem on her business account to connect the office computer too. BTW - Ubuntu 9.04 auto-detects the phone and will automatically set it up as a modem with Three as soon as it's connected to the USB (even though I connected it in order to transfer files to/from it).
