Thanks for the references, the first one is similar to what I managed
to find about timeouts and such - what I want is to drop the messages
completely.

The second one might allow me to set higher priority to the admin e-mails.

Yes, it screams the same to me too, but the circumstances so far
didn't allow me to upgrade it (it will be CentOS 5 when I get the
resources to do it).
