Well now if this isn't relevant to my interests. I am in the process of building a new mythbox (the old one is getting on, p3 1ghz with 768mb of ram) too, and have managed to get the missus to approve ~1700. I want to use it for a few Virtual servers as well, probably run KVM. Most of this is from MSY and static ice searches though, plus I already have 650w vantec power supply not doing anything. Hopefully it inspires someone, but I am also hoping for a little bit of critique, especially from Jeff who I know uses his media centre for virtual machines as well.
