Tried this,  no difference.  It is not a boot problem.

My computer is on 24/7.  It happens when I log on and off.

This is the solution I put into place.

Interesting in ubuntu,  'System - Preferences - Startup Applications'
will not allow a command line.  I created a simple script then put only
the script name in the menu and it works then.
