Getup wasn't set up by the labor party but a number of the main organisers are members of it, particularly of the right faction. In saying that I don't think that matters so long as they keep that part of their professional lives separate and dont let that compromise the role of Getup. As for the 300 000 members or whatever they're up to now, I don't think they've ever done a survey of party affiliation, as far as I can recall at least.
