I use it on my mail server and I love it. The only time a user notices it is when they're on the phone and someone says they've just sent something. Even then it's only the first time as any further emails in the next 30 days are white listed from that address, IP, combo so no further delays as long as they get an email from them at least once a month.
I have changed the delay time from the default 10 minutes to 60 seconds as I've found that to be enough to stop the spam but YMMV.
