Just to close off on this thread, I was in perl dependency hell (if
there is such a thing) but the copy over of the perl modules and config
files from one server to another kicked off the perl module install
process again.  I was able to use "perl -MCPAN -e shell" and then issue
the "install module::xyz" command to get going again and all
dependencies were subsequently installed.

I am now the proud possessor of a functioning RT 3.8.7.  I have
installed this software about 4 or 5 times now and I find it is one of
the most difficult packages to install but well worth hanging in there.
