Hi everyone, I'm forwarding this on behalf of Scott Hollier.
---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Scott Hollier <[email protected]> Date: 31 March 2010 08:15 Hi everyone, My name is Scott Hollier, you may remember me as the vision impaired guy that gave an accessibility presentation to you towards the end of last year. Do you work for or with government? Did you know that the Federal government recently announced that all their websites will have to meet the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines by 2012 (for level A)? We're putting a free resource kit together to help implement these guidelines, and keen to find out how we can help and who needs to receive it. I'd really appreciate it if you can answer some questions to help us: - Are there accessibility standards or guidelines for government work or tenders currently? - How are websites maintained or developed currently? Is it usually in-house, contractors or outside agencies? Are there any suppliers that are used widely across departments? If you'd like to know more, provide any feedback or see our draft resource kit, please email me [email protected]. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Scott.
