Hi Folks,

I'm slowly going crazy trying to use Fedora 13 (I need to fix some build
problems for one of my packages).

I'm trying to use qemu to host a Fedora 13 guest.

Attempt 1: The Fedora 13 i686 Live CD boots OK, but fumbles the ball
when it comes to actually mounting the Live root image. DOA.

Attempt 2: The i386 install CD (1 of 6) install OK, but nothing I do can
make its networking actually able to connect to the Internet, so I can't
install any of the required packages so I can build the project I want
to build.

Googling "fedora 13 qemu guest" only ever returns hits for how to run
fedora 13 hosts... almost as if no-one else can get fedora 13 guests
working, either.

Um, help?
boot a different guest and see if you have your networking working, odds are its something to do with bridges or emulated hardware

An ubuntu livecd might be the way to go, perhaps a slightly older one than 10.04 might be more reliable.
