Not to mention they get all those lovely live mobile numbers to market to.

See clause 10 of the terms:

Following the link:

"In relation to" is wide. Their position might well be that marketing for the 
purpose of trying to get you to agree to them providing their services to you 
is "in relation to" them providing their services to you.

The terms of the promotion also say you can click a button on the the web site 
that says "click here to show your support" as an alternative to sending the 
SMS. Good luck finding that.
