ACS founder and Australia’s first Professor of Computer Science, Emeritus 
Professor of Computer Science John Bennett, an Australian ICT pioneer, passed 
away on 9 December 2010.

The ACS and The University of Sydney would like to invite you to a memorial 
service to honour John Bennett’s life.

When: Thurs 24 Feb 2011
Where: Great Hall, University of Sydney
Time: 10.30am
