The laptop has a divided hard drive: Windows7 and Ubuntu.

I recently added a printer. To the Windows section. Installed drivers to
this section

I’d like to access the printer from the Ubuntu part of the hard drive.

So. Do I have to install drivers to the Ubuntu section of the disc? Or can
the drivers installed on the Windows part serve the Ubuntu section as
well?

Could someone advise? Please lay off my cosmic ignorance of
computing/Windows/Ubuntu etc. I receive enough of this from my, uh,
friends.

William Bennett.
