Gem files will remain installed in /var/lib/gems/1.8/gems/fcgi-0.8.8 for
inspection.
Results logged to /var/lib/gems/1.8/gems/fcgi-0.8.8/ext/fcgi/gem_make.out
I do not recall having this much trouble the first time I did this.
