I have Ubuntu 10.04 server running as a guest inside Ubuntu 10.04 server
KVM host.
Periodically the guest freezes. I can't log in, and services stop
working. Virsh loses control of the guest - that is, I can't shutdown or
restart the guest. Sometimes I can destroy it, but at least once I had
to completely shutdown the host.
The guest log is showing no symptoms at all - dmesg, syslog or messages.
The apache log only indicates when the freeze happened, but nothing else.
The host log doesn't seem to show anything abnormal either.
Any suggestions? or any ideas where to start looking? The best I've
found on google so far is a suggestion not to use Ubuntu :)
