-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Is anyone on this list familiar with and/or using e17.2.1? I have been using e16 DR17 for some time and it is very fast and works quite well. My only problem is that the newer version which is an upgrade of the recently officially released e17 creates a problem which can only be resolved by removing it completely.
The problem is that libembryo0_1.7.6 is trying to install over libembryo1_1.2.0 and is is unable to do so. All the libraries used by e17 are version 1.7.6 and the libraries on the system are all 1.2.0. I have tried going in as root and manually placing the libraries and their links in place and doing an ldconfig but the system still comes up with the same error claiming that it needs libembryo.1.7.6 but libembryo 1.2.0 is installed (which seems strange when I have removed all traces of it! Any clues would be useful Thanks Heracles -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iQEcBAEBCAAGBQJRibeJAAoJEJk11efqjIS4xvUH/Rc2VUJsiEioilUGpQvdr7Ux B6eG2q7X+t2WVz4+adXjZu/FfckmBwm22fGa/ugP+RPQ8MhH/++HMt1ENksVjFZI sBGkpGmwMGIuZZyh0QVqgwP+sEAzR43C2nrAthOQVHQHTKJQUTNhXmZzoUC/AuAw Ky39bd0Ee5t3lTKjTGPIpXcSLQT1qUTsA2vU3O9rGjqzqOgCOM8wP5G5t5Ufl/S8 yKLpYKhPhciQ+j1dMmt9vdIhmvdG808jVZKKf6fJ/ArLb9W8qBWh5OImROS/+tSS BWLI6kB754gxYvEK7CfLi4vzpAHRe+aGOm1MndsQNdmW6zZhNbM1gp9/eNAqDTY= =xgma -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
