Tried Manjaro and I like where it is going. I especially like that it
has a distro available with e17 already set as the default desktop.
Turned out that there was something wrong with my install that was
unfixable (by me) so after reinstalling 13.04 I removed unity and
replaced it with cinnamon and then reinstalled e17 and let it upgrade to
the latest kernel and libraries. No more hassles.
I did nor install manjaro; just ran it live as I have no familiarity
with arch linux packaging whereas I've been using debs for years. I
might install it in a vm and learn more about it.
