I think apt-cacher listens on a port and you can connect to it with a web browser to fix it. see /etc/apt-cacher-ng/security.conf to set a password also try restarting the apt-cacher daemon http://david:3142/acng-report.html I had no end of problems with it, constantly had to restart it and delete/ //var/lib/apt/lists/partial/* and often /var/lib/apt/lists/* too I just use squid now, you just have to increase the maximum file size that's saved to disk so debs get saved. -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
