Many thanks to those who suggested solutions to the BCM 4313 802 Network
problem.

Truly it is said that you get your education where you can with Ubuntu.

So, proceeding further. I've never installed an application to the laptop
(or anywhere else, for that matter).

1. Will

sudo apt-get install etc

work in this case?

2. A lot of the methodologies suggested deal with NVIDIA and/or ATI
graphics cards. Does the BCM card fall into either of these categories?

3. Not BCM-related, but I'm curious nonetheless. On mooching through some
of the discussions, I noticed some remarks on Brasero, all of which were,
um, coarse.

Were they warranted?

William Bennett.
