Had a chance to try it out on a recent flight, and here are some impressions:

Quite slick, in terms of the menu presentation, and starting up any app took about 20 seconds.

Unfortunately, the User Experience isn't so good, due to the fact that they had to squeeze a QUERTY keyboard into the same amount of space previously occupied by much fewer buttons, reuse some buttons, sharing with the game controller and then put the mouse functions into a joypad.

So, navigation to any menu was a real pain, either with the pointer or with keyboard shortcuts, (not really having a working CTRL key) not a great introduction to Staroffice. :-( To be fair, it would be a poor experience with any other brand Office app loaded as well.

Loading and saving of Word and other documents was painless from my USB stick, and I believe default is .odt for new docs as well (although I could be mistaken)

Powerpoint slides (6Mb) from Office 2003 displayed properly, as did spreadsheets, but didn't try any with macros or other charts.

Conclusion: Great for review and touchup of existing documents, but don't think you can write a chapter of your latest novel with this!

Regards,
Wei Shun
