First Open Source Appliance Development Stack Builder Now Available in
Fedora 7
The Fedora Project, a Red Hat sponsored and community-supported
open source collaboration, announced that the latest version of its
distribution, Fedora 7, is now available. This latest version offers a
completely open source build process that greatly simplifies the
creation of appliances that can be targeted to meet individual needs.

Red Hat Asia Pacific RHCE of the Year 2007
The winner of the RHCE of the Year 2007 award goes to Thandava Krishnan
Saidapet Padmanabhan. A Senior Research Officer from the Institute for
Infocomm Research in Singapore, Krishnan volunteers at the Singapore
Red Cross. He puts his RHCE knowledge to good use by leading the
donorweb.org project, a non-profit website and online central
depository of the Singapore Red Cross Blood Donor Recruitment Programme.

New Red Hat Global Services Center in India
Red Hat launched its new Global Services Center in Mumbai, India,
substantiating the company's vision of realizing collaboration across
