After having done battle with the Via K8M890CE video card built into my shuttle SK22G2 (and having lost) I am now considering getting a separate video card to at least get decent performance for things like web-browsing, office apps, Google Earth and the occasional Video playback etc.
No, I am not looking at gaming, so i don't need the greatest and fastest, just a decent accelerated card supported under FC6 (x86_64) (and ideally something that stays cool w/o drawing too much power..) As I have not followed the video card market I would like to solicit some recommendations for a reasonably priced card. The slots I have available are PCIe and PCI, no AGP. I'd prefer to use the PCIe for the video as I may need the PCI slot for something else later..
