I tried out the M1 384kbps wireless broadband with a router for 1 week.
The coverage at my home (Sengkang) was so bad that it kept timing out
and disconnecting multiple times a night for all 7 nights. Now back with
StarHub cable modem. Much better.
So if you are aware of the potential coverage pitfalls, go for it.

got the M1 bb pcmcia card working on my fc6. Connection wise depending
on the area. Sometime okie, sometime very bad.

Currently using M1 with the router. I think only M1 is offering
with a
router. Hope the rest will follow. So just using a normal ethernet
cable. So not very mobile. Three of my friends are using it mobile on
Windows and are ok. Not great speed but get the job done.
M1 at UBI techpark is bad. Especially at night. It was ok at
Singapore
Expo. Never reached the 1800kbs speed. The last I checked, got about
400kbs. Better to just get the 346kbs speed plan. Cheaper and pay for
the speed you will only get anyway.
The speed, I think, really depends on location.
