Hi fellow LUGS,
today i found a document by Eric Steven Raymond with the title "How to
become a hacker".
At first i was quite distanced, because i expected another of these
"Capture a PC using BackOrifice" or "Rootkits for everyone" scripts..
None of these fears became true, this guy really wrote a very good
introduction into what Hackers are and how they work and think.
In my opinion this text is of great value to get rid of the
misconception of what hackers are, even for people who never wrote a
piece of sourcecode or have never seen linux before. (e.g. politicians)
Maybe you would want to give it a minute to read and if you see the same
value as i do, then help to spread it.
