The following is has information about an article in the Malaysian press about Malaysia going from Disapprove with Comments to Abstain on the OOXML stuff.

While doing that, I would like to encourage members on this list to write to the CE IDA and the press asking why is it that Singapore voted Approve with Comments when the XML TC recommended Disapprove with Comments. The fact that at the ISO level the vote ended up as Disapprove with Comments shows how out of sync Singapore is. It appears that Singapore is the ONLY Asian country to vote Yes with Comments. Naturally, I do not want to author such a note to the press, for we need more independent voices to query. Thanks.
