Hi Linux experts, We are using Nagios to monitor our servers. We would like to use Nagios notification feature to send SMS alert to someone on duty when server problem arises. To avoid deployment and maintenance of hardware, we are thinking of using web-based SMS service. To send SMS, just use HTTP GET e.g. http://www.smsgateway.com/sendsms?mob=<registered mobile number>&pwd=mypassword&tel=<receiving mobile number>&msg=<Actual message> The gateway server will return a code indicating whether SMS was successfully sent or failure code. Can this be accomplished with Nagios features?
