The June issue of Fast Company features a front-page article on how MS
has just appointed a new hot-shot advertising company to hoist them out
of their current doldrums. Of recent the MS Brand has taken a severe
beating between the launch of Vista and the brilliant Mac vs. PC
campaign from Apple.
One can only assume that this new $300Mil consumer-branding contract is
going to be put to excellent use by a *very* smart person. We should all
brace ourselves :)
Interestingly the article states that the appointment of this new,
sometimes controversial ad agency is either "..an act of courage or
desperation, depending on whom you ask."
