Yes. The SG ISPs do offer mobile broadband access at ridiculously
expensive rates. :) Check out their websites.
I find the 2mbps unlimited service by Singtel affordable at
$24.xx/month. Only regret is that I bought it in October, when now
Starhub has roughly the same deal but throws in a Dell Inspiron 9 for
$189 only :-(

Now roaming with that is a totally different story..

Hhhmm... Celcom Malaysia offering mobile broadband at RM6 per day!

Now to get a Celcom account .... anyone ?

That required tethering, ie you subscribe by SMS, so it likely won't
wrok from a 3G dongle (at least with a Mac where there is no SMS app for
use with the dongle that I know of. No idea whether that exists for
Linux either).

Yeah, but with Malaysia now also on Google Street Maps, I was looking forward to at least using my Nokia E71to *not* get lost driving in KL. But at $5 per Mb I'd much rather just get lost :)

Cheers
Stephan
