I recommend NDISWrapper: http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/. As long as it has a Windows driver (100%!), it will work. The ubuntu driver source for my Planex (Zydas zd1211rw) cannot even compile (on Ubuntu 8.04)! I gave up after one day, and tried ndiswrapper - got it working with the Win2K driver. I have not yet tested with sniffers, but at least wireless extensions, iwlist, iwconfig work. You can give it a shot. Kokhong New Email names for you!
