i'm using fedora live on a usb-key. i have 2 partitions on the usb-key, one for fedora and another for my data. why dual partitions? simply because i don't want my data to automount and i want to be in control as to when/how my data gets mounted since i use the fedora live for internet browsing, system recovery, OS showcase etc. hence only when required, i manually mount my data partition to access my files. i don't use an encrypted partition for my data (no million dollar secrets to keep :P) but i'm sure you can manage that data partition as per your requirement, encrypted and all. fedora gets the work done :) _______________________________________________ Slugnet mailing list [email protected] http://wiki.lugs.org.sg/LugsMailingListFaq http://www.lugs.org.sg/mailman/listinfo/slugnet
