Also note that OpenOffice 3.1 is going to be released hopefully within a
week or two (the release is imminent).
This is going to be a reasonably substantial update to 3.0.

Where can I go to purchase a copy of Open Office.
It takes slightly more than 2 hours to download this entire program.
Hi. It may be a little difficult to buy a copy of it, as it is freely
downloadable. In addition, software development is fast enough that
any version in retail stores is likely to be a little old. I hope you
don't mind that I've copied this response to the mailing list of the
Linux Users Group, who may be aware of other sources.
1. Mynasoft (Tel: 96304050) sells CDs, estimated price of S$5 per CD.

2. Cheapiso.com is a malaysian company that sells CDs too. Estimated
price of US$4.50 per CD.

3. If you don't need the latest version, there's also a good chance
that the National Library will have a CD with the software within it.
And if you're interested in other free and open source software, you
may wish to consider OpenDisc, which includes OpenOffice together with
lots of other software. You can ask the above companies for OpenDisc,
or donate US$15 to OpenDisc for 2 DVDs.
