Job
Descriptions
Design
and set up high network architecture, IP address schemes and High Availability
servers on FreeBSD/Linux/Windows server platforms
Design
and Implement system monitoring and network management system in the Data
Center
Responsible
for uninterrupted operations of the systems hosted in the data center and
respond to any issues that arise
Responsible
for implementing security solutions and enforcing data center network security
policies: including firewall, ip-filters
rules, etc
Define
and implement disaster recovery and backup programs for the entire server and
network system
Provide
system and network performance tuning, virtualization and monitoring
Responsible
for software version controls, testing and implementation to go
live
Maintain
and keep up to date all systems and technical documentation
Responsible
for implementation of back-office system, including the Test Systems
Assist
in other game operations and support events where necessary
Qualification:
Degree
in Computer, Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunication Engineering, or
Network-related fields. Diploma holders
with good experience can also apply.
Knowledge
and experience in implementation/operation of FreeBSD/Lunux-based WWW/Intranet
solutions Apache/MYSQL/PHP, etc
At
least 3 years in-depth experience in FreeBSD/Linux/Windows Operating Systems,
MYSQL database systems and server/network management systems
To
perform in planning, deploying, monitoring all servers and related systems
procedures. Knowledge and experience of
setting up firewalls, VPNs, VLANS, Remote Access, bash-scripting,
etc.
Working
knowledge in installing and maintaining hardware, software and network such as
structured cabling, IP layer3-switches (CISCO), router, firewall, etc. and
experience in FreeBSD/Linux/Windows Servers
Professional
certifications will be viewed
favourably.
