today just heard that redhat will deliver new linux MRGrelease 
(messaging,realtime,grid) this year
guess it also comes with redhat's realtime-patch?

A lot of the work is still ongoing and some vendors like Red Hat have
a RT kernel for customers who need it.  Not sure right now if the kernel
is hard-realtime.
