SLURM developers:

The CHAOS team at LLNL has converted the entire internal SLURM Subversion code repository to git. For the first time, the SLURM source repository is publicly accessible and hosted on github!

  https://github.com/chaos/slurm

Gone are the days when you had to pull tar balls into your own VCS solution and feed patches back through email. Now you are free to "fork" slurm on github. Exchange new features and bug fixes, and have code review discussions through github's "Pull Requests" feature. Submit bug reports and feature requests through github's own issue tracker. All the power of a modern distributed VCS plus the "social coding" features of github.

I predict that this will ring in a new era of collaboration and world domination for SLURM.

Enjoy!

Chris
