Moe Jette and Danny Auble have recently announced their resignation
from Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) in order to devote
their full attention to SchedMD. SchedMD is a limited liability
company founded by Moe and Danny primarily to provide custom
development and support of SLURM, one of the most popular job
scheduling systems in high performance computing.

SLURM is remain open source and publicly available, much as it is
today. SchedMD will provide a new mechanism for SLURM support and
development with more resources than was previously possible.

Moe Jette has served as the SLURM project leader and developer since
its inception in 2002. Danny Auble has been a SLURM developer since
2004 and was responsible for numerous enhancements including
hierarchical communications and database integration. Both will be
departing LLNL on June 17.
