None of the tools will ever write to slurm.com. At least not today they won't.

Boy, I also hope this works. This is the configuration we have

Subject: [slurm-dev] slurm.conf on ro filesystem

Just a reality check.

Can I have my slurm.conf on a read only, distributed, filesystem? Will
scontrol or commands that force the slurmd to re-read its config ever
*write* to slurm.conf?
