It just struck me that I am not sure I have seen any precise fact about how many nodes are considered in the scheduling stage.
Some other scheduling algorithms seem to limit themselves to a fixed number, say 16, nodes in each pass. I have not seen any mention of that in the slurm man pages. Am I looking in the wrong place or is the algorithms quick enough not to have a limit? /andreas -- Systems Engineer PDC Center for High Performance Computing CSC School of Computer Science and Communication KTH Royal Institute of Technology SE-100 44 Stockholm, Sweden Phone: 087906658 "A satellite, an earring, and a dust bunny are what made America great!"
