Hi,
a customer is telling me about feature as to auto-detect/infer
SLURM_MPI_TYPE ( or --mpi )
by inspecting the "a.out" in "srun ... a.out". I'm told this is in
2.5.x. I seem not being
able to find any reference on slurm-devel mailing archives or in the
source itself.
What am I missing ?
Otoh, I started at looking at using use_env spank plugin to accomplish
that task
but a quick look at2.5.0 srun code tells me "mpi_type" is not
re-evaluated after command-line
processing and the call to spank_init_post_opt().
Any better ideas than going patching srun ?
