Hi Kevin,

In the past I've used cpusets for process tracking and cranked up the frequency 
for checking memory usage to a few seconds. It was 99.999% foolproof. The 
cpusets guarantee accurate tracking of the jobs processes.  If all else fails 
that might work for you.
