[slurm-dev] Different behavior with QoS

Dear list,

how can the QoS possibly influence the output of a job?

I see this:

tauruslogin1:/home/mark > srun -qos=long --pty bash
srun: error: --output incompatible with --pty option

and without QoS:

tauruslogin1:/home/mark > srun --pty bash
taurusi3001:/home/mark >


My qos definition (just for testing) is:
sacctmgr add qos GrpCPUs=2 MaxWall=2 Name=long

With this I want to restrict jobs running with this qos to 2 min and restrict the #cores to 2.
