Hello,

we get these "error: Node xxxx appears to have a different slurm.conf than the slurmctld" messages reported in slurmctld.log for some nodes in our cluster.

I have seen this before but have forgotten what it means :)

The whole message is:
slurmctld: error: Node xxxxx appears to have a different slurm.conf than the slurmctld. This could cause issues with communication and functionality. Please review both files and make sure they are the same. If this is expected ignore, and set DebugFlags=NO_CONF_HASH in your slurm.conf.

Which files is "Please review both files"?

We have recently started running slurm 2.6.3, and have upgraded the slurmd binary on the nodes as well, but not at the same time.

Thanks

/Per
