Hi folks,

We've noticed that MySQL 5.6 introduced a reserved word of "partition"
(amongst others) which Slurm is already using in its schemas:

https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/en/reserved-words.html

Table 9.3 New Reserved Words in MySQL 5.6
GET IO_AFTER_GTIDS IO_BEFORE_GTIDS
MASTER_BIND ONE_SHOT PARTITION
SQL_AFTER_GTIDS SQL_BEFORE_GTIDS

We believe you can legally use these reserved words if you properly
quote your SQL so I was wondering if anyone out there was already
successfully running with slurmdbd against MySQL 5.6?

All the best!
Chris
