Hi, The following occurs with version 2.4.5.
In the log file for slurmctld, we occasionally see something like the following: slurmctld:[2014-05-28T09:52:01] sched: Cancel of JobId=424442 by UID=213883, usec=846 slurmctld:[2014-05-28T09:56:31] sched: Cancel of JobId=426288 by UID=251723, usec=1886 slurmctld:[2014-05-28T09:59:37] sched: Cancel of StepId=430523.0 by UID=0 usec=472 slurmctld:[2014-05-28T09:59:37] sched: Cancel of StepId=430523.0 by UID=155068 usec=277 When a JobId is reported as being cancelled, just the UID of the user is given. When a StepId is reported as being cancelled, both root's UID and that of the user is given. For the later case, can I tell who really called "scancel" without grepping through shell history files?
